I made this bird table from scraps of wood. It is fixed against the north-western wall and has a large roof to protect the contents from wind and rain. The 'hanging feeder' inside is filled with black sunflower seeds. I found that hanging the feeder from a tree branch resulted in a lot of wastage as seeds fell or were dropped to the ground. In wet weather the seeds inside got damp and started to grow. The table is visited daily by tits and house sparrows. Greenfinches and chaffinches are occasional visitors to the table.
